The problem: 

Client : We are updating our brand & we need content, but we are not sure what all is actually
required. We need Lifestyles, Documentation Photos, Product Photos, Testimonials etc. and we
need to decide on what platform we need to use. Where do we start?

 TribeMetiz : Let’s start with a BRAND AUDIT, what assets do you actually have with you at the
moment. Then we need to categorize things into NEED TO HAVE’S & LIKE TO HAVE’S.

 ..and then we continued to advise them on what needs to be done. 

Over the last 2 months or so, we have been getting a few clients with almost the same type of
request and for those who are in the same boat as the client above I would actually recommend
you do the below :-


Part of the solution :-
1. See what you currently have with you. Most of the time we have existing content that we can
repurpose. A photo that can be expanded to a case study, a case study that can be made into a
short form or long form video, a video that can be converted to a blogpost etc.


2. Make your NEED TO HAVE’S & LIKE TO HAVE’S list.
You feel you NEED a flashy 3 min corporate video. Why? Is it essential to have it? Would a training
or service video be better? Ask the necessary questions.


Why should you do this?

It will let you know what you exactly need. This helps you cut out all the fluff that you think you
need but don’t.


The best part of this, where you may have had to spend 10,000, now you might just have to spend
5,000 and use it where it actually counts.
